What I need to cultivate

On this sunless day.

 

The word ‘nevermindfulness’ is taken from a poem by Roy Kelly in The Spectator this week:

Nevermindfulness

Contemplating truth
and time, the face
in the hairdresser’s mirror
for twenty minutes
or more, seeing
while attempting not to.
